LEAD Center at UC Berkeley

The LEAD Center, a unit falling under the ASUC Student Union, is an outward, student-facing website used as a resource for many groups on campus. This website underwent a challenging restructure of its content, navigation and need to implement a better UX strategy for its audience.

I evaluated the goals for this website in terms of priority and those goals were translated into different components of the website using audience feedback as my method. My 3 goals were:

  1. Streamline information gathering process for student groups and departments
  2. Create a cohesive online presence falling under the ASUC Student Union
  3. Utilize a strategy for content that's easy to understand, direct and lean.

My method to achieve these goals were a mixture between analytical data I had from the existing site and conducting onsite interviews with my target audience to narrow down problems, expectations and final solutions.
